Pacemakers

A small electronic device that helps the heart to beat at a proper rate, a pacemaker helps to normalize your heartbeat. When you heart beats too fast or too slow the pacemaker generates a small electrical impulse, very similar to the heart's natural impulse. "Pacing" your heart to its normal rate and helping you to resume your regular activities.

Located under the skin, implanting a pacemaker is a minimally invasive procedure. AAC physicians have implanted thousands of pacemakers in adult patients of all ages.
