Your AAC physician may choose to treat your arrhythmia with a procedure called an ablation. Often, this treatment permanently resolves the arrhythmia by destroying the abnormal electrical pathway that causes it. During an ablation your AAC physician will frequently use a process called mapping to locate the abnormal pathway that is causing the problem. Once the location is found, the ablation is performed.

AAC physicians have extensive training and experience in the techniques of mapping and ablation.
